National Council of fireworks have recommended some Safety Tips for the citizens so that the celebration time don’t get bad. Few basic safety tips remembered can make the season enjoyable with good and safe firework.
- Don’t set off fireworks too close to structures, vehicles, trees or dry plants. Only use fireworks outdoors.

- Parents and caretakers should always closely supervise teens if they are using fireworks.
- Keep a mobile phone with you in case a fire becomes out of control and you need to call 9-1-1 emergency services.
- Parents should not allow young children to handle or use fireworks.
- Fireworks should only be used outdoors.
- Always have water ready if you are shooting fireworks.
- Know your fireworks. Read the caution label before igniting.
- Keep pets indoors. The loud explosions may frighten your pets.
- Please do follow local laws. If fireworks are not legal where you live, do not use them.
- Do not mix Alcohol and fireworks.
- Use your safety glasses whenever using fireworks.
- Never relight a dead firework. Wait for at least 20 minutes and then soak it in a bucket of water.
- Soak spent fireworks with water before placing them in an outdoor garbage can.
- Avoid using homemade fireworks or illegal explosives they can be dangerous causing damage to life & property.
- Report illegal explosives, like M480s and quarter sticks, to the fire or police department.
